Re: Kanban and Scrum - making the most of both
Henrik,
I'll be using your book in a university graduate course I'm teaching on Agile this semester. Your book provides a great case-study for Scrum and provides practical how-to details that are missing in other Scrum sources. (BTW: I've written a homework assignment based on your book that I'd be glad to share.)
Sincerely, you've written one of the best software engineering books I've read:
* It's based on actual use and experience
* You provide insightful solutions for a number of problems--better than what I'd come-up with
* It's very well written. It's clear and very well organized. It's cogent--every point made is worth reading. Your English and writing style are very good.
There is one thing that would be helpful to know, but was omitted. What was the type of development project where you used Scrum, e.g., a web-based application?
Thanks for a great book, and for putting it on-line for free.
Sincerely,
Jim Yuill

Henrik,
I just posted a comment for your "Kanban and Scrum" book, but see I made a mistake--that comment was for your other book, "Scrum and XP from the Trenches".
If it would be helpful to you, send me the comment and I'll repost it elsewhere, e.g., on Amazon.
Thanks again,
Jim
