Leading Complexity 2025 — Just Two Weeks Away!

We’re just two weeks away from the launch of Leading Complexity 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the amazing group of participants who’ve signed up from around the world.

This year marks the fourth season of the program — and the theme feels more urgent and relevant than ever:

In 2025, we’re focusing on how to lead, learn, and adapt in the age of AI and accelerating complexity.

Over the coming months, we’ll dive deep into the intersection of leadership, AI, human systems, collaboration, decision-making, and complexity. And we’ve brought together an incredible speaker lineup to guide us.

Meet the 2025 Speakers

Here’s who you’ll be learning from — and why we’re so excited to have them:

Jeff Sutherland

Co-creator of Scrum and Agile Manifesto signer. Jeff is a true pioneer who continues to push the boundaries of what agile teams and organizations can achieve. He brings fresh thinking on high-performing teams and rapid value delivery — and how these ideas evolve in the AI age.

Susan Basterfield

A global leader in self-management and participatory leadership. Susan helps teams and organizations work with greater humanity and effectiveness in complex environments. Her approach blends curiosity, co-creation, and deep systems thinking.

James Priest

James is the co-developer of Sociocracy 3.0 (S3) — and one of the most skilled facilitators we’ve worked with. He brings a profound understanding of how to improve collaboration, structure, and decision-making in teams and organizations of all types.

Portia Tung

Portia’s work centers on play, flow, and leadership. She’ll help us explore how to unlock creativity, resilience, and psychological safety in complex environments — and why play is a serious leadership tool.

Jurgen Appelo

Jurgen is the creator of unFIX and author of Management 3.0. He’s now focused on networked agentic organizations — how humans and AI agents can co-lead in adaptive, decentralized systems. Jurgen always brings fresh, practical tools for the future of work.

Sam Isaacson

Sam is a pioneer in AI-powered coaching. As founder of AIcoach.chat, he’s working on the frontier of how AI can augment — not replace — human development. Expect practical, ethical, and inspiring insights into the future of leadership growth.

Jonathan Reams

Jonathan is a researcher exploring how leaders make meaning in complex systems. His work with AI-based assessments of cognitive complexity gives a new lens on how we think, decide, and lead — and how we can level up as individuals and organizations.

Linda Rising

Author of Fearless Change, Linda is a beloved voice in organizational transformation. She helps leaders and change agents navigate resistance and build environments where learning and change can actually stick.

Nils Janse

Nils is the author of AI Agents and How to Build a Product. He helps product leaders and teams turn generative AI into a practical tool — not a hype trap. Expect sharp insights into product strategy, AI integration, and the future of product leadership.

Samraaj Bath

Samraaj is a Silicon Valley founder building AI companies at the heart of the current wave. His session gives an inside look at what it really means to lead, build, and navigate in the epicenter of the AI revolution — including lessons you can apply wherever you are.
