Here’s an interview by InfoQ. I talked about my books, my travels, the agile manifesto translation project, coaching coaches, agile trends, and various other stuff. The interviewer (Craig Smith) had a great set of questions, and I’m pretty happy with my answers 🙂
Hi Henrik!
Unfortunately, I have not managed to find how to contact with you, so I try to use this comment as a communication instrument.
Henrik, could you please answer these questions:
1. Does SCRUM suppose that development team should be cross-functional?
2. What does “cross-functional” mean? Does it mean that every member of the team can perform all kinds of tasks (coding, requirements analysis, testing, documenting and so on)?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Pavel Surmenok
Hi Pavel!

Yes.

No. It means that every team member is willing to do more than just their own kinds of tasks though.
Thank you, Henrik!
