great presentation!
I find the slide about improving the value curve and the metaphor of minimizing the distance a little bit misleading in this context.
For me product development in a complex environment is mainly about
– exploiting variability,(minimize risks and maximize opportunities)
– fast market feedback for selection
– low costs of learning (faster and with less effort)
Nothing like risks and opportunities show up on these slides – in fact it is unclear what value exactly is in a complex environment.
